In the video Bob Doug – Road 98 (Music Video), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a sketch to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The two went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
