In the video Bob & Doug, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s part is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as an idea to both satisfy and makes jokes about network Canadian content guidelines, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The two later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
