In the video Bob makes a joke, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as an idea to both fulfill and makes jokes about legal Canadian content policies, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
