Bob McKenzie is played by Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. Which was made originally as filler to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content laws, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The two enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
