Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as an idea to both please and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content policies, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
