In the video Brother Bear Is Disney’s most epic movie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh about legal Canadian content guidelines, the siblings transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The two enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
