Bob and Doug McKenzie in Buds Christmas Video

In the video Buds Christmas Video, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as an idea to both please and mock legal Canadian content rules, the siblings morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
