In the video Burton Cummings/MacLean Brothers ~ Nine Days Of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as a sketch to both please and makes jokes about network Canadian content policies, the brothers morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
