Bob and Doug McKenzie in Canadian 12 days of Christmas

In the video Canadian 12 days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Although created originally as filler to both please and laugh at legal Canadian content legislation, the siblings turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
