Bob and Doug McKenzie in Canadians Reaction to Skrillex

In the video Canadians Reaction to Skrillex, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at network Canadian content legislation, the pair morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
