In the video CARL DOUGLAS ~ Kung Fu Fighting, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a segment which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as a sketch to both fulfill and make fun of non sensical Canadian content policies, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
