Bob and Doug McKenzie in Cassy’s Christmas Covers Part 1: from one Hoser to another

In the video Cassy’s Christmas Covers Part 1: from one Hoser to another, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was shown on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is created by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a skit to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the siblings turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
