Bob and Doug McKenzie in Catherine O’Hara on SCTV

In the video Catherine O’Hara on SCTV, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in . The character Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a joke to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content guidelines, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The characters soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
