Bob and Doug McKenzie in Cazafantasmas 2 (rick moranis)

In the video Cazafantasmas 2 (rick moranis), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a skit to both please and make fun of silly Canadian content guidelines, the pair transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
