Bob and Doug McKenzie in Celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday in 2017 with the Most Canadian Video EVER!

In the video Celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday in 2017 with the Most Canadian Video EVER!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as fluff to both please and mock annoying Canadian content guidelines, the siblings morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
