Bob and Doug McKenzie in Cheech and Chong – Santa and the Magic Dust

In the video Cheech and Chong – Santa and the Magic Dust, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as a joke to both please and laugh about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the siblings morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
