Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as fluff to both fulfill and laugh at legal Canadian content demands, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The pair soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
