Bob and Doug McKenzie in Christmas Movie List

In the video Christmas Movie List, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as fluff to both satisfy and laugh about stupid Canadian content statutes, the characters transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The characters soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
