In the video Christmas Song 12 Days of Christmas original, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the duo morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
