Such a gem of a movie.
Honestly heart wrenching.
2:17 I love how all the girls in class are into it, and all the guys are just dumbfounded.
Love is perfect .
Best version of this song to me
If it wasn't Rick Moranis this scene would have been a train wreck, but he carries it with his ubernerd earnestness. (I high key LOVE that he also sang his own backing vocals … "Follow you — follow you — all around — all a-rou hound"
What a desperate nutcase. He doesn't care if she loses her job or not. She's right, he's crazy. Yet she keeps messing with his sorry ass. And kids would never react to that just by clapping. Comments would be flying across the room. The screenwriter obviously doesn't know what classrooms are like.
Good stuff
When I was a kid and saw this movie, I had never heard this song, so for the majority of my life whenever I thought "why do birds, suddenly appear" all I could see was rick moranis…actually, still do, even after hearing the song. I don't know why this song always stood out as the #1 serenade song to me, but it is nice remembering part of the reason. Great scene.
He’s so adorable
Very romantic and beautiful, Yay Rick!
One of the most heartwarming scenes from a movie EVER! <3
0:54 Shit … THAT is a star done with purpose! Damn
It would've been so much funnier if that were Moranis as Tom Monroe.
Note to stalkers: don't look bug eyed psychotic (1:52…)
This is very off key, but it's still very cute and charming. Glad Auto-tune didn't exist then.
"Nathan, you're crazy."
"AHHHH-AHH-AHH…Close to you"
Yes, when in doubt. sing louder!
The way Rick Moranis was in this Scene, that's totally me! I would sing like this just to win back my lost love!
I saw this movie a long time ago. I remember nothing but this scene from it.
I wish Rick Moranis would walk in and start singing to my teachers during my classes.
I saw Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys!
Karen would have loved this…
This is just adorable you guys ^ _ ^
I want to do a song about Rick Moranis
