In the video Collective Dream: With Jared Leto, The Weeknd, Rick Moranis, OliveWaveCult, Olive Breeze Fred Durst, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as a skit to both please and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content demands, the pair morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
