Bob and Doug McKenzie in Come on Christmas

In the video Come on Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and make fun of dumb Canadian content guidelines, the duo grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
