Bob and Doug McKenzie in Coo-coo-roo-coo-coo-roo

In the video Coo-coo-roo-coo-coo-roo, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by actor Dave Thomas. It was created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The pair became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
