Bob and Doug McKenzie in Cross & Kin Presents: Dad’s Disney Film Ranking

In the video Cross & Kin Presents: Dad’s Disney Film Ranking, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a skit to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
