Bob’s part is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as filler to both follow guidelines and make fun of legal Canadian content rules, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The pair went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
