Bob and Doug McKenzie in Da Turdy Point Buck

In the video Da Turdy Point Buck, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the characters transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
