Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dark Helmet for VRChat

In the video Dark Helmet for VRChat, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content rules, the pair morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
