Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dark Time – I Hate The Bloody Queen

In the video Dark Time – I Hate The Bloody Queen, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was aired on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as an idea to both please and laugh at annoying Canadian content laws, the characters morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
