Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Moody’s 12 Days of Nascar Christmas 2018

In the video Dave Moody’s 12 Days of Nascar Christmas 2018, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as filler to both satisfy and mock silly Canadian content demands, the duo became a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The pair became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
