In the video Dave Thomas 2003 BJJ Competition, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh at network Canadian content demands, the duo grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
