Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Brown – “Common Man” from American Psycho (Duncan Sheik)

In the video Dave Thomas Brown – “Common Man” from American Psycho (Duncan Sheik), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was born originally as fluff to both satisfy and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content laws, the brothers turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
