In the video Dave Thomas Class gotta love this guy!!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content legislation, the siblings became a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The two enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
