In the video Dave Thomas Comedy Show with John Candy, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a improv which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about silly Canadian content demands, the characters became a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
