Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas @ David Letterman, SCTV

In the video Dave Thomas @ David Letterman, SCTV, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was included on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a skit to both please and laugh about network Canadian content rules, the pair grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
