In the video Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. The bit was born originally as a skit to both please and laugh at stupid Canadian content demands, the siblings transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
