Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – 3 Wishes

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – 3 Wishes, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content legislation, the duo turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The characters went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
