Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – All Good

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – All Good, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the pair became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
