In the video Dave Thomas Junior All I Want Cover Turbo Version, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh at network Canadian content policies, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The characters went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
