Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Ever

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Ever, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content demands, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
