Bob’s character is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a skit to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content rules, the brothers became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
