Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – I Can’t Make You Love Me (Instrumental)

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – I Can’t Make You Love Me (Instrumental), Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a skit to both please and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content laws, the brothers morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
