Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Let Me Down Easy

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Let Me Down Easy, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the siblings became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
