Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Lost At Sea

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Lost At Sea, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh at silly Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
