Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Lost At Sea

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Lost At Sea, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock dumb Canadian content rules, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
