In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Nobody Else, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a improv which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh at stupid Canadian content rules, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The two soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
