Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Nobody’s Perfect

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Nobody’s Perfect, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
