Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Nothing In The World

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Nothing In The World, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is brought to life by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about dumb Canadian content demands, the brothers transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
