In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Our Time Will Come Again, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and laugh about annoying Canadian content policies, the two morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
