Bob and Doug McKenzie in Dave Thomas Junior – Silence (Doomer Remix)

In the video Dave Thomas Junior – Silence (Doomer Remix), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh at network Canadian content laws, the two turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
