Bob’s part is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as filler to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content legislation, the brothers transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The characters enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I think this is the greatest song Ive ever heard. Melodic , beautiful guitar work and a voice that lifts my emotions like I wasn't aware was capable .
I recently lost a friend to suicide. I couldnt go to her funeral because of the lockdown. I listen to this song and choke up thinking of my amazing friend that succumbed to her inner demons but cherish the gift of her amazing friendship she was able to give me all these years.
